When I (Jasper) got my Sage machine, that meant tamping directly on the countertop. The result? Scratches on the surface, coffee grounds everywhere, and a portafilter that doesnt sit steadily while tamping. During our research, we came across many tamping mats with odd shapes and unnecessary extras, like special cut outs for the tamper. What we
