On old units they glass up or worse turn into a really gooey sticky mess
it may well be the same on other Fostex models I have some E16 ones elsewhere listed they look mechanically the same but its a slightly heavier casting and maybe a mm taller so kept them apart
These heads are really really rare now and with these machines coming back into service are likely to get rarer
