On the BACK is a photo of a seated man with an open book

so this was probably taken a few years before

Ambrotype is in very good antique condition with light haloing around the perimeter and some small mat abrasions

Nice! Florida or Georgia? Group Daguerreotype Photo Children Girl & Boys 1850s child so a photographer was calledNice 6th plate daguerreotype of three young people, probably a girl and her young brothers. They are not identified, but this came with a lot of other dags out of a Florida estate and one of the other daguerreotypes was of a child identified as John Madison Taylor (b. 1851, Georgia) so there's a good chance this dag was taken somewhere in that area or the southeast US. Dag no longer has its seals but is in excellent condition with no scratches, swipes
