Stickley Furniture the lady of shalottIn 1902, four years after Gustav Stickley began building furniture in his United Crafts Workshops in Eastwood, New York, his brother Leopold established his own Arts and Crafts furniture business a few miles away in Fayetteville, a suburb of Syracuse, to which he soon recruited his brother J. George. They initially used the trademark "Onondaga Shops," for the county in which it was located; by 1910 they were labeling their furniture "Handcraft." Like
