Lovely clean reel table clamp from a 34 but i think these are common in the later 1/4 inch machines

I always wish I had been trained by someone like an old Teac engineer (Skywave etc) As you can learn a lot from the older guys and they can put you straight "don't do this or that etc"

Some people have been sending this block away to be re-chipped with modern op amps and I have heard good reports about these upgrades
