these pieces have been drawn from Richard's notebooks dating back to his student days and also from impressionistic memories with a distinctive wash of Mediterranean sunlight and color pervading the collection

"I picked each song based on my all-time favorites and I wrote the new ones based on real holiday emotions and stories

according to the repertory: an instrument by Francesco Ruggieri dating from 1676 and the famous Giovanni Gagliano of 1756 known as the 'Sir John Barbirolli'
