And from the small details like the chain of his pocket watch to the mystery of its story (the penciled in "Alice's Father" written on the back) makes this such a great piece for putting on display

A long and tall looming tree covers the sidewalk which is rich with plant life, ivy crawling up the building, and low lying windows with classic brick and panes. Lower right corner is dated September 9, 1962. Lower left indicates 'Washington News #56'. In slightly different ink, the work is inscribed bottom center with reading: 'To Sis (or Liz?) + Ed'. Ink on
